Ukrainian Charge d'Affaires in Tehran Yevhen Kravchenko has been summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry over a statement by Ukrainian presidential adviser Mikhail Podolyak about Kyiv's indirect involvement in the recent drone attack on the Iranian Defense Ministry's facility in Isfahan, Tasnim news agency reported.

"In continuation of the statement of the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak and the acknowledgement of that country's alleged involvement in the attack on the Iranian Defense Ministry facility in Isfahan, the Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in Iran was summoned to the Foreign Ministry to provide explanations for the statement of the Ukrainian presidential adviser," the agency said in a statement.

Earlier, Podolyak made it clear on his Twitter that the drone attack on the Defense Ministry's facility in Isfahan and the explosion at the Azarshahr facility could be related to the events in Ukraine and Iran's alleged assistance to Russia, writing that "Ukraine warned you."
