The U.S. has announced $135 million to support economic recovery in Moldova and Ukraine.

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) announced today that the U.S.-Russia Investment Fund, in partnership with the U.S. Congress, will transfer more than $154 million. This includes $135 million to the Western NIS Enterprise Fund to support economic recovery in Ukraine and Moldova, the U.S. Agency for International Development said in a statement on its official website.

Another $18 million will be sent to the U.S.-Russia Foundation for Economic and Legal Development to support civil society and independent media in Russia, the statement reads.
