Italian sports car maker Ferrari NV posted a 13% increase in net income and a 19% increase in revenue in 2022, both of which were record highs in the company's history.

According to a press release, for 2022, Ferrari posted a net profit of €939 million, up from €833 million in 2021 on revenue of €5.1 billion versus €4.27 billion a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA rose 16% to €1.77 billion.

The automaker's net profit for October-December was €221 million compared to €214 million in the same period a year ago.

Quarterly earnings before interest, tax and depreciation (EBITDA) rose to 469 million euros from 398 million euros a year earlier.

Revenue rose 17% to €1.37 billion.

In the fourth quarter, Ferrari sold 3,327 cars (up 13% year-over-year) and deliveries for the year as a whole were 13,221 cars (up 19%).

In 2023, Ferrari expects adjusted EBITDA in the neighborhood of €2.13 billion to €2.18 billion, and revenue is expected to be €5.7 billion.

Ferrari shares are down 2.4 percent in trading in Milan on Friday. The company's capitalization has risen 20 percent since the beginning of the year and now stands at about 56.7 billion euros.
