The devastating earthquake did not damage Turkey's oil pipelines, Botas company informed.

"Inspections showed that the crude oil pipelines were not damaged," the company's press release stated.

But as a precautionary measure, it was decided to stop natural gas supply to a number of regions located near the epicenter of the quake, the company added.

According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of Turkey, 76 people were killed and 440 others were injured in seven provinces of the country.

The 7.4-magnitude earthquake occurred in Turkey's Kahramanmaras Province at 4:17am local time, causing destruction in a number of cities. It was informed about the resultant devastation that happened in several regions of Syria, too, and the earthquake was felt also in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
