American entrepreneur Ilon Musk stated that he is ready to send Starlink terminals to Turkey in case they will be necessary for liquidation of the earthquake consequences. He wrote about it in Twitter.

Responding to a question from a social media user about whether it was possible to send terminals to help rescue workers, Musk said Starlink had not yet received permission to do so from Turkish authorities.

SpaceX is ready to send the terminals as soon as that permission is obtained, the entrepreneur wrote.

Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu earlier reported that the powerful earthquake that struck Turkey on February 6 was felt in 10 provinces of the country. According to Soylu, the main blow fell on the city of Kahramanmaras. The 7.4-magnitude quake was followed by at least 22 more aftershocks, six of which were of magnitude over 6.

Soylu also reported that Turkey is now at its highest alert level.
