According to seismologists, the earthquake with magnitude 2-3 on the MSK-64 scale was felt in the third largest city of the Republic, Shymkent, with a population of over 1.1 million people, and with magnitude 2 - in the village of Temirlan, located several dozens of kilometers from Shymkent.
