Regular four-day sessions of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia started today.

The agenda includes 24 matters; in particular, giving consent to launch criminal proceedings against Seyran Ohanyan, head of the NA opposition "Armenia" Faction and former defense minister, and Armen Charchyan, a member of the same faction.

In addition, the NA will elect Sargis Khandanyan as the new chair of the NA foreign relations committee. Eduard Aghajanyan resigned from that position a few days ago.

And up to 90 minutes have been set for the debates on the package of bills on making additions to the Criminal Procedure Code and amendments and additions to the Law on the Prosecutor's Office.
