Martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine has been extended for another 90 days, said Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

On Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy submitted draft laws to parliament to extend martial law in the country and the period of general mobilization for three months.

"Parliament approved laws #8419 on presidential decrees extending martial law, 348 [people] voted in favor. The action will be extended from February 19, 2023, extending again for 90 days. Also, the parliament approved laws #8420 on presidential decrees to extend the period of general mobilization, [voted] 344 [people], also the term from February 19, 2023, will be extended again for 90 days," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
