The armies of NATO member states conducted military drills with Leopard 2 tanks 100 miles (160 kilometers) from the Russian-Estonian border, CNN reported.

The armies of the United States, France, Great Britain, Denmark and Estonia took part in the combined arms exercise. According to the Afghan veteran and commander of the Danish contingent Major Rasmus Jensen, the exercises, which were also joined by servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), were designed to prepare new Leopard 2 tank crews for combat operations in winter conditions.

Also on February 7, the training of Ukrainian tank crews on Leopard 2 tanks started in Germany. This will be training, during which they will receive the most necessary skills, said German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
