Armenia has received another reply from Baku regarding proposals for a peace agreement, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said at a joint press conference with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in Berlin.

The minister said that another meeting with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Russia was scheduled in December in Moscow. Due to the situation with Azerbaijan's blocking of the Lachin corridor, Armenia postponed participation in the meeting. "Despite this, we presented our proposals. A few days ago we received another reply from the Azerbaijani side," Mirzoyan said.

The Foreign Minister stressed that this is a long, step-by-step process. "We are continuing our work. It is very important to understand that although the Lachin corridor is closed and challenges remain, the negotiation process has not stopped. Another issue is that it is not facilitated if not to say hindered by Baku's anti-Armenian rhetoric and actions, no matter it is about Armenia or Artsakh, aggressive actions on the ground - the consequences of aggression against Armenia and the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh have not been eliminated," Mirzoyan listed. At the same time, the minister assured that under any circumstances, official Yerevan is resolute in its peace agenda and will continue its efforts to achieve lasting peace in the region.
