A plane with a rescue detachment and aid from Armenia has already landed in Turkey, Turkish MP of Armenian origin Garo Paylan said.

"The rescue detachment and aid sent by Armenia have already landed in the country.

On the morning of Feb. 6, a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck southeastern Turkey. Another earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 occurred later in the day. A third earthquake occurred on the morning of February 7. The death toll from the earthquake reached 3,549. In neighboring Syria 960 people were killed and 1,353 people were injured. Underground shocks were also felt in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
