BMW has unveiled the redesigned BMW X5 and X6 crossovers, according to the brand's press service.

Both models have new headlights, lights and bumpers. Inside the cabin in the Sports Activity Vehicle and Sports Activity Coupe models appeared curved panel consisting of a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and 14.9-inch screen media kit. The models also have more touch-screen controls.

The cars will be offered with gasoline and diesel engines, an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission and BMW's intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive system. Rear-wheel drive is also available, but only for cars in the base sDrive40i configuration.

BMW has also updated the hybrid version of the BMW X5, which is now called xDrive50e instead of xDrive45e. It received a new hybrid powertrain with a total output of 490 hp.
