Kazakh authorities for four months banned the export of gasoline, diesel fuel and certain types of petroleum products from the Republic by all modes of transport, the press service of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the republic reported on Wednesday.

"In accordance with a joint order of the Ministry of Energy "On some issues of the export of petroleum products from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan" introduces a ban on the export for four months from the Republic of Kazakhstan by all modes of transport: gasoline, diesel fuel and certain types of petroleum products except lubricating oils," said in the message.

The order will be put into effect 10 calendar days after the day of its first official publication. "In this regard, when carrying out activities for the export of these goods outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, please pay attention to the need to comply with this ban," noted in the office.

January 22 authorities of Kazakhstan for another six months extended the ban on the export of petroleum products by road since July last year. Earlier, the Ministry of Energy of the republic explained that retail prices of gasoline and diesel fuel in the country are lower than in Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, which leads to a high demand for fuels and lubricants among drivers of transit transport in the border areas.
