Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, commenting on the words of German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius that the world would be better without Russian President Vladimir Putin, advised the leadership of Germany to take a closer look at their European colleagues, TASS reported.

Lavrov called Pistorius' statement boorish.

"But in terms of what kind of world would be better and who should have been gotten rid of, I think they should have started with the process of studying their colleagues from the European Union around them and actually look at domestic German policy," Lavrov said at a news conference with his Sudanese colleague Ali al-Sadiq Ali.
