Pinsk border guards intercepted a Ukrainian drone near the state border in Stolin district on February 8, reported the State Border Committee of Belarus.

"Belarusian border guards identified an unmanned aerial vehicle, heading from the Ukrainian side to the rear of the Belarusian territory. The border patrol prevented the further flight of the Ukrainian drone with the use of an electronic gun," reads the statement.

The quadcopter was equipped with a built-in video camera. The content of the memory card confirms that the drone was launched from the territory of Ukraine and was used for reconnaissance and filming of technical means of border protection on the territory of Belarus, the Belarusian border guards claim. The fact is currently being investigated.

According to border guards, similar cases were recorded on December 1, 2 and November 16, 2022.
