YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia will initiate a special parliamentary session, on November 28, if examination of the tax package does not end during today’s (Thursday) National Assembly plenary session, PM Tigran Sargsyan stated during the governmental session.

In his words, the tax change package must be adopted prior to approval of the state budget, but the parliament has so far examined a mere sixty percent of the package.

“Let us see how the examinations will proceed today, and pursuant to that we could adopt, during the Government’s next session, a decision to convene a special [parliamentary] session,” Tigran Sargsyan noted.
