The Gibraltar Masters annual chess tournament is close to its end.

Armenian national team’s second number Sergei Movsesian made a draw with David Hauel in the ninth round. Gabriel Sargsyan gained victory over British Craig Hanley.

Representative of U.S. Varujan Hakobyan lost to Azerbaijani Shakriyar Mamedyarov playing black.

After nine rounds Movsesian scored 6.5 points and with other eight players shares 7-14 places.

Sargsyan and Movsesian have 6 points each and share 16-45 places.

The sole leader is world champion Hou Yifan who scored 7.5 points.
