YEREVAN. - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a condolences telegram in regards of the tragedy on Port-Said’s football field in Egypt.

As the press service of the Armenian president informs Armenian News-NEWS.am, Serzh Sargsyan sent the telegram to the chairperson of Egypt’s Highest Military Council Husane Tantavi wishing him and the whole Egyptian nation to support the relatives of the dead.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier,  the a result of the fight during the match between Cairo’s FC Al-Ahli and the local Al-Masri on the football field of Port-said, 74 people died and around 300 were injured.

The police arrested 47 people who are suspected of provoking the riots. Three day mourning is announced in the country.

The PM of Egypt Kamal-al-Ganzury dismissed the country’s Football federation.
