YEREVAN. – The Russian Gazprom Company did not submit a request for reviewing the price of natural gas being supplied to Armenia, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisyan informed during a press conference on Thursday.

In his words, the arrangements are such that Gazprom has to submit a request for changing the price of gas four months in advance, yet it has not presented such demand to date.

Armenia receives natural gas at a price of US$ 180/1,000 m3, which is considerably less than the price being charged for Europe, which is close to $450/1,000 m3.
