TBILISI. - Armenia and Georgia will hold military exercises for the first time together under the patronage of the U.S. this June Additional information on the agenda or the scope is still unavailable, Georgian Pirveli newspaper reports.

Yerevan claims that upcoming exercises will strengthen cooperation with Georgia and the U.S. raising the defense level of Armenia.  Exercises were preceded by the meeting between Armenian and Georgian headquarters in Yerevan, supported by the U.S., media outlets report. The upcoming exercises cause various questions in Azerbaijan, in particular, they will strengthen the Armenian Army, VZGLIAD reports.
