The Iranian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani FMs—Ali Akbar Salehi, Ahmet Davutoglu, and Elmar Mammadyarov—arrived in Nakhichevan on Wednesday.  

The three ministers had a closed-door meeting with Speaker Vasif Talibov of Nakichevan’s Supreme Council. Also, bilateral meetings were held, Novosti Azerbaijan informs. 

And according to SalamNews, Davutoglu and Mammadyarov discussed the implementation of programs that contribute to establishing regional stability and prosperity, and the situation in South Caucasus.    

Trilateral closed-door meetings will be held on the same day, and they will be followed by extended-format meetings. The results will be presented during a news briefing.

The FMs are expected to discuss matters of mutual interest, including the peaceful settlement of regional conflicts.

Also, the ministers intend on examining the implementation of joint programs toward establishing regional stability and prosperity.
