YEREVAN. - No one should speak with threats with Heritage Party, Heritage MP Armen Martirosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am, commenting on the statement made by Editor-in-Chief of Haykakan Zhamanak paper Nikol Pashinyan that Heritage Party had made illogical and unacceptable offers to ANC because of which the issue of joint nominations was not settled.

“Heritage has always been yielding in order to provide for broader cooperation among the opposition, but from now on it will not be like that anymore and it will not be yielded to threats,” the MP said.

As Armen Martirosyan mentioned, because of technical misunderstandings it was not possible to come up with joint nominations but it did not give reason to insult Heritage Party and its leader Raffi Hovhannisian.

He also told that ANC was offered to support ANC in 21 electoral districts, to support ARF Dashnaktsutyun in 13 districts and to support Heritage Party in only 7 districts thus a joint candidate would be nominated in each district.

He also informed that the party leader Raffi Hovhannisian withhold his nomination as he had planned to put his nomination if there is no opposition member in one of the districts. After Samvel Aleksanyan announced that no one was nominated against him, Hovhannisian decided to nominate himself without knowing about Nikol Pashinyan’s nomination.
