YEREVAN. – Having as grounds the “reports” on distributing vote-buying money, authorities are preparing to make surprise raids to the offices of the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), during the last days of campaigning for Sunday’s snap parliamentary election in the country, 168 Zham (Hour) newspaper reported. 

“The objective of such actions will be anti-propaganda, exacerbating the climate of fear, and paralyzing the headquarters.

“Our source informs: it is not ruled out that the RPA central office (…) also will become a target of the raids,” 168 Zham wrote.
