YEREVAN. - New executive managers of Armenia’s Nairit chemical plant signed a contract to export 8000 tons of scrap metal, writes the Armenian Zhamanak newspaper.

“It is the second time when major production facilities are sold under the guise of metal scrap. The plant’s management has recently undergone certain changes. Executive Director Vahan Melkonyan resigned to hold the post of chairman of the board of directors. His deputy, Hovhannes Akhinyan was appointed director,” the newspaper writes.
