YEREVAN. – Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak has sent a letter to Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, and he noted that the price of Russian natural gas shall be $215 per 1,000 cubic meters, on the border, and this is not subject to discussion, 168 Zham (Hour) newspaper reported. 

“We tried to get a comment on this from T. Avinyan. His office manager Varak Sisserian, however, said that Avinyan has meetings during the day and cannot respond. Instead, in accordance with the specified order, the office will respond to the query within 5 days.

“Validity of the Russian gas supply contract expires on December 31.

“At present, Armenia acquires [Russian natural] gas for $150, at the border,” 168 Zham wrote.
