YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: Tomorrow, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will submit to the RA President the candidates for RA Chief of Police and Director of National Security Service [(NSS)].

As it is known, on September 19, 2019, at the suggestion of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, RA President Armen Sarkissian appointed Arman Sargsyan RA Acting Chief of Police and Eduard Martirosyan—Acting Director of the NSS. And tomorrow it will be six months since the acting officials are heading those positions.

Zhoghovurd daily had written in its yesterday's issue that current acting Eduard Martirosyan will be appointed NSS Director.

What is expected regarding the RA Chief of Police? According to rumors spread among the authorities, Arman Sargsyan will most likely be appointed chief of police.

It should be noted, however, that the prime minister fully used the deadlines and did not make new appointments during this time, leaving the current acting officials to work, self-manifest.
