YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: The April [2016] war inquiry committee [of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia] will continue work after the next four-day [NA] session.

Now they are discussing the issue of visiting Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] and getting “first-hand” information. "It is not ruled that we hold a meeting on the spot and invite, say, Lyova Mnatsakanyan, who was the commander of the [Artsakh] Defense Army during the April war."

It should be reminded that it has sent a notice to the former Chief of the RA Armed Forces General Staff Yuri Khachaturov, the meeting was to take place at the previous four-day [sittings of the NA], but it did not take place because of the [constitutional] referendum [campaign] and then due to the coronavirus, although they do not have a great hope that he would come.

The next four-day sittings of the NA will start on March 23.
