YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: According to Zhoghovurd daily’s information, the RA Health and Labor Inspectorate Body is carrying out large-scale inspections at "Nork" Infectious Disease Clinical Hospital [in Yerevan].

The thing is that since March 1, ever since the recording of the first case of the coronavirus confirmed in Armenia, citizens isolated in hotels also were listed as patients of the infectious disease hospital, which has led to the exaggeration of documents, financial expenses. And now there is a need to conduct inspections to find out the reasons for the discrepancy.

According to our information, there are also debts for some services.

Zhoghovurd daily asked Lianna Yeghiazaryan, spokesperson for the inspectorate body, to comment on the matter. In a conversation with us, the latter found it difficult to say what the situation is at the moment, but did not rule out that such inspections are possible, and, according to her, they are regular. "Currently, I do not have such information, but I cannot rule out that there are such inspections, as they are mandatory in the medical institutions involved in the fight against the coronavirus," she said.
