YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of Armenia writes: The package of the draft law "On Making Amendments and an Addendum to the Constitutional Law on [Political] Parties" will be discussed on May 5 at the NA [(National Assembly)] Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs (…).

The changes in the package refer to the annual reports of the [political] parties (…).

At present, under the transitional provisions of the Law on Making Amendments and an Addendum to the Constitutional Law on [Political] Parties, there is a requirement for the reporting officials of [political] parties to submit an annual declaration of property and income for 2021 by March 31, 2022. It is proposed to postpone this period until May 31, 2022.

The draft proposes to set a 30-day deadline for the review of annual reports, setting June 30 as the deadline.
