YEREVAN. – Over 78,000 people have left from but not returned to Armenia—by all means of transport—in the first five months of this year, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

“The State Migration Service of the Territorial Administration Ministry publicized this figure yesterday [Monday].

More than 69,000 people had left from but not returned to Armenia in the same time period last year. That is, the number of those left from but not returned to Armenia in the first five months of this year increased by 13 percent as compared with the year past.

Around 21,000 people left from but not returned to Armenia in May alone.

The five-month bus transport figure in the number of those who left but not returned is a bit more than 8,000 people, and solely the May indicator made for 1,628 people,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
