YEREVAN. – It seems Armenia’s newly-elect National Assembly (NA) MPs are not in a hurry to come up with legislative initiatives, Zhoghovurd daily writes.

“So far only NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan presented a new draft which, however, is not yet included in the NA agenda.

Abrahamyan proposed to make changes in the NA Rules of Procedure and [thus] to enable small [NA] factions so that one MP can be included in three [NA] standing committees at the same time.

[Several NA] ‘Old-timers’ likewise have presented draft legislations to the Parliament, but what they presented are the previous NA bills which the lawmakers have put into circulation once again,” Zhoghovurd writes.
