YEREVAN. – The Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) Board meeting will be convened, at the level of deputy PMs, on January 22 in the Kazakh capital city of Astana, and Armenia will be represented at the event by Deputy Prime Minister and International Economic Integration and Reforms Minister Vache Gabrielyan, Hraparak daily reported.

“By the way, Armenia’s three-member [EEU] board, but which has [solely] one vote, will permanently be seated in Moscow, and the permanent seat of the EEU judges’ ‘council,’ which includes two Armenian judges, will be in [the Belarusian capital city of] Minsk.

“And the seat of the [EEU] financial regulatory body to be formed in the future will be in Kazakhstan.

“And no EEU body will ‘seat’ in Armenia. [Solely] the glorious Russian-CSTO 102nd military base will remain ‘seated’ in Armenia,” Hraparak wrote.
