YEREVAN. – The government is getting ready to welcome Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, who will arrive in Armenia on April 7, according to Hraparak daily.

“Medvedev arrives in Armenia not only to participate in the EAEU [i.e. Eurasian Economic Union] prime ministers’ conference, but also on a working visit.

“The visit is key, to the sense that he will announce here [in Armenia] about the reduction in the price of [Russian natural] gas [being supplied to Armenia]; but not in the ‘living presence’ of [Armenian PM] Hovik Abrahamyan, rather of [Armenian President] Serzh Sargsyan. The ‘shared budget of the goodfellas’ has decided that the PR laurels of this move should belong exclusively to the president of the country,” Hraparak wrote.
