YEREVAN. – Surprise “revelations” are expected in the near future at Tsarukyan Bloc, led by opposition Prosperous Armenia Party former leader—and businessman MP—Gagik Tsarukyan, according to Zhoghovurd (People) newspaper.

“Even the prominent RPA [i.e. the ruling Republican Party of Armenia] members, who for most different reasons decided to no longer link their future with this ruling political force, are going to be on the [parliamentary] election list of this bloc.

“Our sources claim that Republicans, who have considerable financial means, possess certain levers as well as various election technologies, will announce about joining the Tsarukyan Bloc [ahead of the parliamentary election on April 2].

“Our sources (…) assured that their appearance alongside Tsarukyan will cause a shock in the political arena [of Armenia],” wrote Zhoghovurd.
