YEREVAN. – After the parliamentary election scheduled for April 2, the US embassy of Armenia may prepare another “blacklist” of persona non grata, according to Zhamanak (Time) newspaper.

“Moreover, not only criminal elements that disturb the normal course of elections, but rating [i.e. regional representation list] candidates running in the elections, and about whom many proofs are circulating about election bribe and a variety of [election] violations, also may appear on the list.

“They include Mihran Poghosyan [i.e. former head of the Compulsory Enforcement Service of Judicial Orders of Armenia], Arman (Galust) Sahakyan [i.e. Head of the Department of State Property Management, and son of Parliament speaker Galust Sahakyan], [MP] Arakel Movsisyan (Shmays), [MP] Arkadi Hambardzumyan (Arkad of Derzhava), [businessman MP] Samvel Aleksanyan (Lfik), Ruben Hayrapetyan (Nemets) [i.e. President of the Football Federation of Armenia], who already are on another blacklist after the events of March 1, and cannot visit this country ever since 2008.

“It is not ruled out that the EU also prepare such a list,” wrote Zhamanak.
