YEREVAN. – Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of U.S. declared Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick “Friend of Armenians”.

The governor delivered numerous speeches on the Armenian Genocide condemning this crime against humanity, Armenian Azg newspaper writes. He also contributed to planting of Armenian Heritage alley despite antagonism of his political opponents.
