YEREVAN. – After forming coalition Germany is trying to rapidly return its “diplomatic presence” in the Middle East and in our region with a serious focus on Armenia, Hraparak daily writes on Wednesday.

Following the Munich summit, Germany is organizing “Armenia-EU Development Prospects” conference. The Armenian side will be presented at the conference in the following format: Armen Ashotyan from the Republican Party of Armenia and Mane Tandilyan from the opposition Yelq bloc.

“The ‘duo’ of deputies first showed itself in Baku when drinking tea there [deputies traveled for Euronest meeting – ed.] and recently met with the American and French co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group to discuss Karabakh peace process.

The duo will soon leave for Berlin where they will participate in the conference to present the position of the ruling party and the opposition regarding EU-Armenia relations,” the newspaper writes.
