YEREVAN. – Former US ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Kauzlarich has expressed concern that the risk of resumption of an armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) is increasing, according to Zhamanak (Time) newspaper of Armenia.

“We live in very dangerous times when the risk of resuming the armed conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan is growing ever more,” Kauzlarich told Zhamanak. “After the end of the electoral processes and reproduction of power in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia, an opportunity may emerge for a negotiated settlement of the Karabakh conflict; or on the contrary, military actions may resume.”
