YEREVAN. – Russian companies have started not conducting trade in Russian rubles, and they have given the respective preference to the US dollar, according to Zhamanak (Time) newspaper of Armenia.
“Importers explain the [price] increase in grain and fodder in Armenia by that circumstance.
“After the depreciation of the Russian ruble, numerous Russian companies have set their product prices in [US] dollars, and they demand from buyers to make the payments in [US] dollars,” Zhamanak wrote.
