YEREVAN. – Armenia’s former ambassador to Ukraine Andranik Manukyan will be replaced by Tigran Seiranian, Armenia’s ambassador the Czech Republic and Slovakia, according to Hraparak (Square) newspaper.

“By the way, representative of the [Armenian] former authorities, PAP [Prosperous Armenia Party] leader [and tycoon MP] Gagik Tsarukyan’s in-law Andranik Manukyan himself had resigned, and it is not ruled out that he will stay in Ukraine; they say he has received a job offer from [Ukrainian President Petro] Poroshenko.

“[But] how will the interests of RF [Russian Federation] ‘opponent’ Mr. Poroshenko and of Andranik Manukyan coincide? Our source said: “Poroshenko’s largest plant is located in Russia; so there is no need to categorically insist on the theory [of] his being ‘strongly anti-Russian.’ As for Manukyan, there are elections in Ukraine in 3 months; it will show,’” Hraparak wrote.
