YEREVAN. – During the parliamentary majority “My Step” faction’s closed session at the National Assembly (NA) Sessions’ Hall on January 11, Ararat Mirzoyan informed who will head the parliamentary committees. But for many, it was announced unexpectedly that the European integration committee will not be given to the NA faction of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Hraparak (Square) newspaper reported.

“By the way, the ‘My Step’ faction is not taking part in these matters. [Prime Minister Nikol] Pashinyan personally makes the decisions—with the group making the ‘casting’ of the MPs.

“The faction, however, is short of time these days. Important interparliamentary assemblies are foreseen in January, and they have to be able to properly take part in them,” Hraparak wrote.
