STEPANAKERT. - Official Baku perpetrates a fraud, accusing Karabakh of causing fires in the line of contact between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces, Spokesperson for Nagorno-Karabakh President David Babayan said. Babayan stressed climate conditions cause fires. He noted the dry grass catches fire due to heat and shifting winds spread it throughout the territory, Hayots Ashkharh newspaper reports.

“It is the Azerbaijani side that is specialized in starting up deliberate fires. They set fire in the fields and send it to the direction of Nagorno-Karabakh. Karabakh is ready to provide evidence at any time,” Babayan emphasized.
