YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of Armenia writes: There is a clear intensification by the OSCE [Minsk] co-chairing mediators in the Karabakh conflict settlement. (...) James Gilmore, Head of the US mission at the OSCE, made a statement emphasizing that the conflict has no military solution.

Russian Foreign Minister [Sergey] Lavrov, co-chair of the other co-chairing country, said, in essence, in Yerevan yesterday that Artsakh was a party to the talks, but "at some stage one of Armenia’s leaders" decided that Armenia should represent Artsakh.

From Artsakh, however, they insist that this topic is being speculated by Azerbaijan, and it is Azerbaijan that wants Artsakh not to return to the negotiating table.

The Russian Foreign Minister stated in Yerevan that it is clear to everyone that no negotiations can be completed without Artsakh. As for Lavrov, let's note that he has thus provided a subtext support to Stepanakert being a subject.
