YEREVAN. – Zhamanak newspaper of Armenia writes: The government has now clarified its strategy for the Constitutional Court (CC), and the issue will be resolved by mid-2020.

As a result of constitutional reforms, two options are possible: either the CC will be dissolved altogether, or it will be with another composition.

As for the current judges of the CC, they will go through a strict vetting procedure, which is extremely difficult to overcome. In particular, their links with the former corrupt system, various circles, and the work they have done in the past will be examined. In addition, their professional qualities will be checked, and they will undergo a psychological test.
