YEREVAN. – Irates newspaper of Armenia writes: Yesterday [PM] Nikol Pashinyan fired Chief Military Inspector Movses Hakobyan, with his two deputies. It is noteworthy that with this change, before the Karabakh elections, Nikol Pashinyan is trying to make his own reshuffle there.

It is known that Movses Hakobyan is the uncle of Security Council secretary Armen Grigoryan, and the latter supports and sponsors [Karabakh FM] Masis Mayilian in the Artsakh presidential elections. According to our source, with this personnel change, Pashinyan aims to weaken Mayilian's position and strengthen [Karabakh ex-PM] Arayik Harutyunyan.

Moreover, according to some information, such a scenario has also been drawn: Arayik Harutyunyan - Artsakh President, Masis Mayilian - NA Speaker. But Mayilian disagreed, as he has a great appetite for becoming president.

Against this backdrop, [Karabakh President] Bako Sahakyan's silence is quite interesting; he does not openly want to support anyone yet. Instead, Armenia’s authorities have become active.
