YEREVAN. – Hraparak newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: Changes are expected in the diplomatic domain. Resignation is expected for Ambassador to Italy Victoria Baghdasaryan, who was appointed in 2016. The ambassador has been “blamed” for [PM] Nikol Pashinyan's failed visit to Italy. In her stead, according to our information, Tsovinar Hambardzumyan, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the RA Prime Minister's Office, who has worked in the RA President's Office since 1995, will be appointed.

A real candidate for the office of Ambassador to the UK has appeared: in 2005-2014 Armenian Ambassador to the US Tatul Margaryan, who has been Armenia's ambassador to Belgium and Armenia's representative to the EU since 2014. In his stead, Anna Aghajanyan, who was the Armenian ambassador to Indonesia in 2013-2018 and had resigned from the office and asked to be transferred to Europe due to family circumstances, will probably leave for Brussels.
