YEREVAN. – Hraparak newspaper of Armenia writes: The law on early retirement of judges of the Constitutional Court [(CC)] was adopted yesterday. Although it was a matter of life-and-death for the authorities, the bill received 82 votes, one of which was independent-declared Arman Babajanyan. Seven out of 88 members of the [majority] My Step faction did not vote (...), which has been the subject of heated debate in My Step.

By the way, during the faction’s meeting recently, [PM] Nikol Pashinyan had complained about the behavior of CC member Vahe Grigoryan that he did not understand what he wanted, and in uncertainty, the My Step members could not decide how to vote.

The second explanation is that, in spite of the denials, the group divisions are deepening in My Step.
