YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of Armenia writes: Artur Torosyan, who was arrested for the case on assault with a weapon at the Erebuni Plaza hotel, has not testified yet. Eduard Aghajanyan, the latter's lawyer, said in an interview with Zhoghovurd daily, noting that a forensic psychiatric examination has been appointed on his part.

"Until the conclusion is reached, we will probably refrain from planning any investigative action, as it is not clear how we should treat those testimonies until a conclusion is reached."

According to the lawyer, so far there is no information that he [the gunman] was registered in any psychiatric center. Moreover, lawyer Aghajanyan noted that he had seen Artur Torosyan two days ago when he had been brought to court over the issue of appointing a forensic psychiatric examination, and Torosyan had not said anything to the court.
