YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The campaign for the April 5 referendum on constitutional amendments officially kicked off yesterday.

There was an outward silence at the "yes" camp. At Sunday's session of the [ruling] CC [Civil Contract part] board, they decided not to take an open step unless the "no" front was formed to understand what tactics to adopt.

However, it was decided to delegate the MPs elected with the rating [system] to provincial meetings to go and explain to their constituents, "This is a referendum on the being or not being of [PM] Nikol Pashinyan."

A [parliament majority] faction session was also convened yesterday, and the MPs were told to be as careful as possible in their statements, to act more than speak.
