YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of Armenia writes: Yesterday we witnessed an unprecedented situation in Armenia. The hearings in the [criminal] cases of second and third presidents of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan, were in progress on the same day and at almost the same time in two different courts.

The second and third presidents are on the defendant's chair: One, for the overthrow of the constitutional order in the days of March 1, 2008 [in Yerevan], and the other—for organizing a theft of about half a billion drams from the state budget. And while Kocharyan is in custody, Sargsyan's precautionary measure is a signature bond not to leave [the country].
